As Rhythm consultant you work hand in hand with our customers to find the causes behind perceived problems in healthcare delivery processes. You structure these complex logistic puzzles to support objective discussions and decision-making. You leverage your scientific background, analytical and professional skills to help the customer to reduce the variability in patient flows, to balance the available capacity with the need for care, and stabilize the workload of the employees of the customer.

Rhythm is a spin-off initiative from the Center for Healthcare Operations Improvement & Research (CHOIR, University of Twente) in collaboration with ORTEC. It was founded in response to a growing demand from healthcare organizations involved in CHOIR’s research programs, to bring the latest insights in the field of healthcare operations management into practice. Rhythm coaches, develops methods and tools, and provides consulting services to support healthcare providers to optimize their operations management and healthcare delivery processes.
