Loading and SAP Technical Team Lead

ORTEC Loading and SAP Technical Team Lead, Atlanta, GA. Responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that utilize ORTEC’s technology offerings to help our clients achieve optimal performance. Implement technology solutions for our ORTEC SAP application extensions, interfaces, reports, conversions, developments, executions, and operations architecture components. Develop algorithms for ORTEC’s proprietary truck routing and load building software. Perform advanced mathematical modeling and optimization in support of the truck routing and load building software in order to adjust the mathematical models and algorithms within the software. Customize software to meet our clients’ needs. Responsible for developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solutions components and prototypes. Supervise the construction, testing, and deployment of applications and ensure the customers’ requirements are accurately and effectively translated into ORTEC solutions. Translate client requirements into solvable, mathematical solutions that are practical, comprehensive, and effective. Responsible for analyzing client data and providing insights into potential bottlenecks and improvements. Provide clients with clear, concise presentations of ORTEC’s findings and recommendations. Translate mathematical models and data analyses into formats easily understood by our clients and ensure the accuracy of such conversions. Plan and execute data conversion activities and drive test planning and related activities.

Must have a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Econometrics, Operations Research or related field. Must have 4 years of experience with solutions architect responsibilities for supply chain software optimization for varying business processes across the US and global market. Must have four years of experience in: (1) SAP ABAP and SQL coding language; (2) solution designing, leading implementations for supply chain planning solutions supported by data structures and advanced algorithms; (3) installing and Implementing SAP Add on software in Logistics Execution System (LES); (4) implementing with SAP ECC to S/4HANA Conversion of SAP Add On Software and making design adjustments based on product simplifications list; (5) working with COMTEC application platform and installations on Windows Server Environments; and (6) contributing to project plans, highlighting risks and being directly responsible for a team of technical resources responsible for implementation build phase.
