Technical Consultant Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY
You will play an important part in supporting the implementation of our array of solutions for our customers and are the essential link between the ORTEC product experts, ORTEC/customer project team, ORTEC/Global Customer Support Team and Customer IT
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand customer requirements for Supply Chain Planning & Optimization
- Propose technical solutions to meet customer needs
- Configure technical solutions, using ORTEC’s proprietary tools in combination with standard technology SQL, MS Reporting Services, XSL, and others
- Ensures transparency of the project status and communicates with all the stakeholders (Project Manager, customers, team members)
- Run performance analysis
- Perform query tuning (T-SQL)
- Integrated our systems using XML, XSL, SOAP, JSON, Rest APIs, Python
- Deployment large organizational changes to our customers
- Take the lead in emergency mission critical support situations
You will be based in the Atlanta office with possible travels to customer sites.

Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship (H1B sponsorship is not available for this position)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a technical background (Industrial Engineering, Business/Management Information Systems, Operations Management/Research, Applied Mathematics or Information Technology)
- 2-5 years of experience in supporting other Enterprise solutions
- Experience with version control and issue tracking tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good general IT knowledge
- Detail oriented, with an analytical approach
- Solid Experience in SQL, SOAP and Rest APIs
- Experience in SaaS/Cloud Applications
- Experience with XSD/XSL/XSLT, VBScript and PowerShell scripting is a plus, but not required
- Prior experience with Supply chain & Logistics software is a plus, but not required
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
Work Environment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
